Presentation Description

The Tax Cut and Jobs Act was passed in December and signed by President Trump. The Press has reported on its provisions extensively. Some reports are correct and some are not. Industry Tax Expert Mitch Reitman will provide an explanation of the key provisions of the Bill and how they affect security, fire and systems integration companies. He will also discuss irregularities in the Bill, and how some have been rectified and how some still remain.

A question and answer session will be conducted at the end of the presentation, so come prepared with specific questions. He will also be available before and after the meeting for any questions you would like to ask in private.

As the owner of Reitman Consulting, Mitch is an experienced business owner, skilled in tax preparation, budgeting, business planning, sales tax and operations management. He earned a Master of Science degree focused in Accounting and Applied Economics from the University of North Texas in 1990. He has been actively involved in local, state and national security trade associations and served on the boards of the Texas Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, Alarm Industry Research and Education Foundation and the Electronic Security Association. Mitch was inducted into Security Sales and Integration's Industry Hall of Fame in 2017 for his significant contributions to the mission of protecting people and property.
