Twice an American League All-Star, Carlos May played 1,002 career games with the Chicago White Sox between 1968 and 1976. The left fielder and first baseman was also named AL Rookie of the Year by the The Sporting News. May also played with the New York Yankees, California Angels and Japan's Nankai Hawks. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 years, served as a community relations representative for the White Sox and joined the Schaumburg Boomers as first base coach in 2012.
Mr. May will be available after the first pitch until 7:45 pm to visit with attendees, sign autographs and take pictures.
